We provide statutory capacity assessments (under the AGTA) and non-regulated consultation and navigation support for navigating government systems. When a matter requires a regulated professional, we will say so.

It is a formal assessment of a person's capacity to make specific decisions, conducted by a designated capacity assessor under Alberta's Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Act, typically for guardianship or trusteeship processes. It is conducted strictly within legislative authority and is not a medical or psychological diagnosis or treatment.

No. We do not determine eligibility and make no guarantees regarding the outcome of any application, assessment, or government decision. We focus on helping you understand, prepare, and organize your file as completely as possible.

Federal programs including the Canada Child Benefit, Disability Tax Credit, EI, CPP, OAS/GIS, and RDSP; and Alberta programs including AISH, Income Support, Seniors Benefit, FSCD, PDD, ACFB, and housing/social assistance.

We provide client-led support: we help you understand the process, organize required documents, and prepare application packages. You remain the applicant; we assist with consultation and navigation.

We comply with applicable privacy laws, including PIPA (Alberta) and PIPEDA (federal). Your information is handled securely and used only for authorized service delivery.

Yes. We serve clients across Alberta, with most consultation and navigation support handled virtually and in-person services available in the Edmonton area. Capacity assessments are arranged as appropriate for authorized referrals.
